E33-1 Handles Accident on I83N...And An Oven Fire
Tue, Feb 2nd, 2010 8:52:00 pm - This morning just before dawn, during the end of the small winter storm passing the area, Company 33 was alerted for an accident with injuries on I83 North at the offramp to Union Deposit.  Rescue/Engine 33-1 went responding with a full crew along and was advised of a pickup truck into the rear end of a tractor trailer.  Chief 33-1 arrived to find the same.  E33-1 arrived and assisted EMS with Patient extrication and packaging before going available.

After returning to the station from the accident, within an hour, E33 was alerted for box 34-6 on Kent Drive.  DCEMA reported a caller said her oven was on fire but was confined to the oven.  E33 arrived with E34 and confirmed the fire was out before going available.
