Company 33 Handles Seven Calls During Storm

Mon, Jan 25th, 2010 11:15:00 am - This morning, as a major rain and wind storm rolled through the area, boxes started coming in throughout 33's 1st due area.  Units first responded to an accident with injuries on Interstate 83N near Union Deposit Road.  Chief 33-1 arrived to find one patient out of the car and canceled Rescue/Engine 33 as EMS arrived.

Next, Engine 33 handled three calls including wires down across Peiffers Lane, Trees on Wires on Conway Rd, Kalla Dr, and Cheryl Dr.  Then shortly after clearing all three incidents, units were sent to Pool Drive for another tree on wires, but arrived to find a tree crushing a car with no occupants in the vehicle.

While trying to complete reports from the busy morning, E33 was then sent on a fire alarm on Brookdale Drive.  The engine arrived to find smoke from cooking and cleared the event.
